Do you believe in your heavenly guidance? That someone protects and directs you, and is waiting for your call for help? That you can connect with them and ask for support on your path? Do you believe this is possible?
Believe it – it is. Completely possible and completely real. The more you believe in it, the more open you become to heavenly guidance. And the more open you are, the more guidance you will receive and recognize. Your life will become lighter, you will rise to the vibration of clarity and joy. And you know what? You will start noticing more opportunities to fulfill your dreams, and you will feel brave and ready to act. You won’t stand still, but move forward more easily. You won’t just exist, you will truly live. And how is this possible, you may ask? Simply because our heavenly guides connect us with our essence. They bring us back to ourselves and align us with our soul’s plan. That’s why.
The first heavenly guide who is with us from birth is our guardian angel. The guardian angel is ours alone. It is not a general angel, but a vibration that exists only to protect and guide us. However, if we do not connect with it, it will not be very active. It will intervene in cases of life-threatening danger if it is not yet our time, and will try to show us the right direction – but if we do not work on our connection with ourselves, we will not hear, notice, or understand it.
That is why it is extremely important to connect with your guides. How? Simply through meditative practice. Every day you can consciously choose to take a few moments in silence, just with yourself. In this silence, you can connect on all levels and ask your guardian angel – and of course other guides – to give you a sign that they are with you. In your thoughts, you can hand them all your wishes and questions. You can simply talk to them as you would with your best friend and then trust that you will receive guidance. How this comes, I’ll explain a bit later. First, let me share who our guides can be.
While our guardian angel is with us from beginning to end of earthly incarnation, other guides usually join us only for certain periods – the times we need them most. Our guides can be practically all beings of the heavenly realms: angels, fairies, dragons, goddesses, and ascended masters.
Our guides can also be animals. If you encounter an unusual animal in your surroundings, one not typical for where you live, this can already be a sign that this animal is your guide. If you encounter it more than once, that’s proof that this totem animal wants your attention. It doesn’t have to be a living encounter – you might see it once in real life, another time in a picture, or someone might mention it. The ways guides show themselves can be very different. Because our consciousness vibrates much lower than theirs, we cannot directly hear them. So guides are creative and use many communication channels. For example, if white animals appear around you, it’s a special sign that such an animal is your guide.
How to check what a certain animal means? Simply by searching online for “totem meaning + [animal name]” and reading different interpretations. Totem means sacred symbol, and animals are without a doubt a strong medium of soul guidance.
Plants also have totem meaning, so they too can at times be chosen by our soul to bring us a message.
The guides I personally welcome the most are those who belong to our family soul – our ancestors. Our grandparents, parents, siblings, or even relatives we never knew. At this very moment as I write, I am sitting at the table in our little house by the sea – a house that belonged to my late grandmother Nata, who is my guide. And just now, my daughter opened a drawer and took out paper decorations that my two older sons once made with my grandmother when we spent precious moments together by the sea. “Look, Mom… how beautiful this is… What is it?” she asked while laying the decorations out. In that moment, I knew that Nata had come to embrace me. An invaluable feeling of eternity wrapped in the warmest blanket of love.
This is how heavenly guidance is felt. The bond with those we loved and who are no longer physically here is the strongest, though invisible. Our guides can also be relatives we weren’t close to while they lived, or never knew at all. Their purpose and our soul’s agreement is that they can support us more from a higher vibration than they could during earthly life. When in a body, our ego plays a large part, which often prevents such support as the soul can offer through loving guidance from oneness. So remember, dear souls, that earthly endings can actually be the beginning of a different, deeper relationship with your loved ones. And remember that every soul must fulfill its plan when born. And when the earthly plan is complete, the heavenly plan begins.
How do our guides lead us?
They always choose the way our subconscious will most easily recognize and deliver to our conscious mind. The most common forms are manifestations of hearts, feathers, four-leaf clovers, and numbers. More specific signs are those tied to the guide itself or your relationship with them. Guides use many channels: lyrics of a song you hear, words in a book you read, something someone says, or dreams you dream. Almost anything in our reality can be a medium for our guides.
For example, just a few days ago I was reflecting on an event I plan to organize and connected in thought, emotion, and energy with my guide, the white peahen. I asked her for a sign that my idea was on the right track. A few hours later, I received a message from my neighbor with a photo of two living white peacocks and the note: “Here’s the white peacock… at my friends’ place… I immediately thought of you, since I saw you got a white peahen statue.” I thanked him and my peahen. Now I knew my idea was right and that I would be able to support many souls. Because I received guidance, my trust deepened. And with deeper trust, my actions are more focused, and the event will be fulfilled in alignment with its purpose.
This is the power our guides have on our lives – they align our actions with our soul plan, benefiting everyone connected with us. Invaluable.
Another very clear way of receiving guidance is through angel cards. When you become a proud owner of one of the many decks available, you can also ask your guides for messages through them. Do you already have your own deck? I personally have many, and some I connect with more easily than others. The clearest guidance I receive, of course, is through my Miracle of the Heart angel cards, which I channeled myself. I am grateful that one of my main guides is Hamied, the Angel of Miracles, who chose me to be the earthly messenger of his messages.
